Why now
One popular tracker shut down and deleted everyone's history overnight. The current favorite is iPhone-only and charges again for every property. We're building the one that lasts — on every device, fairly priced, with data that's always yours.
Why we're building it
Teire (手入れ) is a Japanese word with no clean English match — the regular, attentive care you give something so it lasts. The same word for tending a garden, maintaining a blade, or keeping a home. Not fixing things once they break. Tending them so they don't.
Our family lives between Florida and Japan, and that idea — that the things worth owning are worth tending — is one we grew up with on both sides. Your home and what fills it are among the largest investments you'll make. They deserve better than a drawer of forgotten manuals.
